This website ("Site") uses cookies and other tracking technologies (including, for example, pixels), provided and managed directly by Duca di Salaparuta S.p.A. and/or by third parties, to offer visitors and users ("User(s)") a more accessible, efficient, and personalized Browse experience (collectively referred to as "Cookies" or "Tracking Tools"). This policy describes the Cookies installed on the Site along with their characteristics and purposes.

What are cookies and what are they used for

Cookies are text files or sets of information created by certain websites on the User’s computer when they access a given site, with the purpose of storing and transmitting information.   • Persistent cookies: remain stored on the User’s device even after closing the browser, until a pre-set expiry date (e.g., cookies used to maintain login authentication, where applicable);

  • Session cookies: are not stored persistently and are deleted automatically every time the browser is closed;

• By purpose:

  • Technical Cookies: allow the website to remember preferences expressed by the User during navigation or registration and are necessary for the proper functioning of the Site or services requested by the User (e.g., session cookies required for authentication);

  • Functionality Cookies: allow navigation according to selected criteria, such as language;

  • Analytical or Performance Cookies: process statistical data on the use and functioning of the Site to improve performance and usability;

  • Marketing or Profiling Cookies: track user navigation in order to display personalized advertisements aligned with their preferences and to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and content.

There are also Social Network Tracking Tools that allow interaction between the Site and the User’s social media account or the Data Controller’s social account (see “Data Controller” section below). These tools are not necessary for navigation.

User Consent to Cookies / Tracking Tools

Under current legislation, User consent is not required for the use of Technical Cookies, as they are necessary to provide services requested via navigation on the Site.

Technical Cookies are automatically installed by the Site upon the User’s first visit to any page of the Site and, unless otherwise specified by the User, only strictly necessary technical cookies are enabled.

Conversely, other types of cookies, particularly Marketing Cookies, Targeting Cookies, and third-party Analytical Cookies, are installed only upon the User’s explicit consent.

When accessing the Site, a dedicated banner informs the User that the Site uses non-essential cookies, and that it is possible to accept them by clicking the relevant button in the Cookie banner or by accessing the Cookie management section (“Banner”).

If the User does not wish to consent to non-essential cookies, they may block or disable them at any time via one or more of the following methods:

• Clicking the “X” in the upper-right corner of the Banner;

• Changing the settings in the Cookie management section (see “Cookie Deactivation and Activation” for more information);

Failure to consent to Analytical Cookies will not affect the User’s ability to visit the Site and use its contents.

Additional Methods for Disabling Non-Technical Third-Party Cookies

Third-party cookies (e.g., from Facebook, LinkedIn, Google) can be disabled by following the instructions in their respective privacy or cookie policies, which are independent from this Site’s policy.

Users are advised to carefully read the policies and disclosures provided by such third parties.

Data Subject Rights

As a data subject, the User has the right, at any time, to:

• Withdraw previously given consent;

• Request access to their personal data;

• Request correction, deletion, or restriction of processing;

• Object to data processing;

• Request data portability (when applicable under EU Regulation 2016/679 — especially if the data is processed using automated tools and based on consent or a contract).

In addition, the User may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in Italy or in the EU Member State where the alleged violation occurred.
